Production and Post-production Manager

Privaatspeurders season 1 (13x23 minutes, 2022)

Conducted development research, pre-interviews, production management and post-production supervision, liaised between three series editors, an audio mixer, director, producer and the Via commissioning editor to ensure that final deliverables met quality standards and channel deadlines. 


Privaatspeurders was nominated for a South African Film & Television Award in August 2023, in the category of Best Structured / Docu-realiy Show.

Easy Japanese Medical Video Series (2020)

Coordinated the production of a 10-part educational video series, commissioned by Tokyo Metropolitan Government and The Toyota Foundation; featured on NHK Channel 1 evening news; assisted in developing the brief; supervised continuity on set; consulted in the edit on packaging, animation and pacing.

'Easy Japanese' for COVID-19 testing (2020)

​​Consulted with the editor about the online edit and packaging of a 100-second, educational video; advised on the use of SFX, chyron animation, closed captions and video pacing in line with the client’s target demographic.

Impact Producer

Ushiku (2021)

Developed the impact strategy for an 87-minute social-issue documentary, which shares the stories of foreign detainees in one of the largest immigration centres in Japan. Created and implemented a workflow for the transcription and assembly of hundreds of hours of raw footage.

Produced a SAFTA award-winning 25-minute environmental documentary; screened in over 18 countries; secured a national TV-distribution agreement in 2019. Acquired by DocuBay for streaming rights in August 2023.

Race and Inequality in South Africa feat. Dominic Gaobepe

Produced two scripts from a 28-page research report for videos on ‘racial inequality’ and ‘institutional racism’ in South Africa, respectively. Provided additional in-depth research, citations and fact-checking.
